GE Lighting has won a 2013 Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine for its Albeo low voltage LED lighting fixtures, according to Novus Light Today.
Devices selected for a PIAs are recognized for development, innovation and refinement of building-related products. Entries are judged by a panel of 50 experts who are not employed by Architectural Products Magazine but are highly knowledgeable of the design field in regards to standards development and education.
GE’s Albeo ABHX-Series LED lighting is a high-bay fixture designed to outshine any other commercial lighting option, including fluorescent T5 and T8 lamps and 400- to 1500-watt high intensity discharge lamps. It offers more lumens per module than the first Albeo model, and it can be equipped with motion and wireless controls for effortless illumination level adjustments.
These fixtures were also given a 2013 Product Innovation Award from Architectural SSL Magazine as well as a Next Generation Luminaires Award.
The success of GE’s Albeo line demonstrates its position as one of the top commercial LED lighting manufacturers in the world, which offers market-leading products.
