RAB Lighting has announced its new LED panel fixture, the LPANEL.
These LED lighting systems are available in various sizes, making them suitable for various applications: 2 feet by 2 feet, 2 feet by 4 feet and 1 foot by 4 feet. In addition to size variety, LPANEL products also have lumen options to provide whatever light output is needed for any circumstance, and each lumen package offers efficiency of 106 lumens-per-watt.
LED lighting is known for energy savings, especially when coupled with dimming capabilities, which are offered with the LPANEL. The optional driver uses a zero to 10-volt control signal to offer full dimming. The fixtures also reduce maintenance costs, as they are rated to last 27 years with average use of 10 hours per day.
RAB’s new commercial LED lighting fixtures are also under warranty to have minimal color shift – no more than 200K within a 5-year span.

James B. Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, Ill., installed 20 20-watt LPACK LED fixtures as a more energy-efficient replacement for its 175-watt ceramic metal halide lamps. With RAB’s products, the school will save $5,000 annually on energy costs. Further, based on those savings and a government-sponsored energy grant, the school will be able to pay for the fixtures in as little as six months.
