Commercial lighting suppliers RAB Lighting and Acuity Brands have been named as IMARK Supplier of the Year for 2013 in their subjective categories.
2013 is the second consecutive year that RAB has been given this prestigious honor.
“Our membership was very pleased to announce for the second year in a row that RAB Lighting is the IMARK Supplier of the Year in the mid volume supplier category,” IMARK President Bob Smith stated. “RAB continues their outstanding support of our membership and this award is well deserved.”
In addition to Supplier of the Year, RAB was a finalist in three in three categories for distinguished performance. The categories were excellence in marketing and communications, sales leadership and excellence in service and support.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Acuity Brands, an industry-leading commercial LED lighting provider, has taken the title in the largest volume supplier category.
“We are proud of our association with Acuity Brands and the award is greatly deserved,” Smith continued.
Winners for the IMARK Supplier of the Year awards are selected by over 2,000 member companies represented by IMARK. Judging criteria included annual sales growth, overall performance, marketing support for IMARK programs, new product promotion and communication activities and creative efforts to serve new IMARK members.
