Monterey Lighting Solutions worked with Camello General Contractor in Santa Clara, CA to help facilitate the lighting portion of a total remodel of the Avatar Hotel – a Hilton Boutique Hotel. The remodel included indoor and outdoor lighting for all hotel rooms, gym, pool area, conference rooms, reception, hotel rooms, bathrooms, restaurant/bar and coffee shop. The previous lighting design was inadequate in many areas, including the conference rooms and restaurant/kitchen, and the entire property required updating and modernization, which included the replacement of most luminaries and a total redesign of the lighting plan.
Monterey worked hand in hand with the general contractor and lighting designer to achieve budget consensus, while at the same time maintaining design integrity.
